Last updated: 2026-11-03. CloudSnap is an educational cloud identification tool operated by PicForge (support@getpicforge.com).

Photos you identify

When you use the identifier, your photo is first re-encoded in your own browser, which removes EXIF data including any location tags. The re-encoded image is then sent to our server and forwarded to an AI vision model provider for classification. We do not store your photos, and they are never published or added to the gallery. The gallery only contains photos whose owners have explicitly agreed to publication, plus openly licensed reference photos with credits shown.

Feedback

If you tap the feedback buttons after an identification, we store only the cloud genus the model reported and the genus you say is correct, together with a one-way hashed identifier of your connection. No photo is stored with feedback.

Analytics and cookies

We count page views and identification usage in aggregate to operate daily limits and prevent abuse. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell personal data.
